Special citation as most promising new author in 1958. B.S.F.A. votes him Britian's most popular SF Writer 1969. Recieved the Ditmar Award as the World's Best Contemporary SF Author in 1970, Hothouse (UK) 1962 Hugo Award, The Saliva Tree 1965 Nebula Award .
